Fuel injection
ImageFuel injection is the mapping of the fuel to air ratio given to a motor for the maximum power output. This process is dictated by a number of factors including cylinder heads, inlet ports, exhaust systems air box and air filters. 

 

 

 

 

Carburetion


Carburetion is affectively the same process as fuel injection only an older method.

In any engine, carburetion is the process of mixing the proper ratios of fuel with oxygen. This is what creates the correct levels of combustion in the engine.

Carburetion is responsible for allowing an engine to perform at an optimal level whether it is starting, running at full throttle or idling.
